For young cats, from neutering up to 12 months old.
LOW IN CARBOHYDRATE: 20%
HIGH IN PROTEIN: 44%
Once neutered, young cats are already predisposed to becoming overweight even if they are still growing. VETERINARY HPM® responds to your young neutered cat’s specific needs.
VETERINARY HPM® is a new generation of cat food designed to be closer to the nutritional needs of carnivores. This new and unique range is based on a low carbohydrate-high protein formula. So it is much lower in starch and carbohydrates, and much higher in animal protein. The result is nutrition that is perfectly adapted to your cat’s needs.
Maintaining Good Health
Thanks to its nutritional profile (low carbohydrate-high protein balance) and specially selected functional supplements, VETERINARY HPM® is more than just a cat food. It has a wide spectrum of health benefits to support the long-term health and well-being of your cat, the highly evolved carnivore in your own home.
Helps to limit the risk of excess weight which might arise as a result of neutering. The high protein content contributes to ongoing muscle development.
• Low fat content provides the appropriate energy profile for the end of growth, post neutering
• High level of animal protein helps maintain urinary health
• Very low starch content for high digestive tolerance
• Omega-3 and Omega-6 for healthy skin and a shiny coat
• Dental tartar and plaque control
• Low glycaemic index helps ensure stable blood glucose levels

How do I switch from my current food to VETERINARY HPM® ?
Days 1 and 2 should consist of 75% current food & 25% VETERINARY HPM. Days 3 & 4 - 50% current food and 50% VETERINARY HPM, Days 5 & 6 - 25% current food and 75% VETERINARY HPM, Day 7 100% VETERINARY HPM.
How much should I feed my pet?
VETERINARY HPM® is very palatable, but we advise you respect the daily rations recommended. Feeding guidelines can be found on every bag, but your vet or vet nurse can provide you with a feeding guide tailored for your pet.
My pet is drinking more. Is this normal?
A dog should drink 50-70ml/kg of their bodyweight each day, whilst cats should consume 60ml/kg. Thanks to VETERINARY HPM’s higher amount of protein compared to other dry foods, your pet will naturally consume more water - that's a good thing!
Where is VETERINARY HPM® produced?
VETERINARY HPM® is produced in our own factory in France, specifically in Vauvert, since 1988. For over 30 years we continue to work hard to meet the very high expectations of pet owners for food quality, traceability and safety.
